Sophia's Chic Boutique - Cconceited Stylz
Five days into the new year and I've decided that I would like to step out of my comfort zone.
I woke up this morning and realize that I needed a change. I don't plan to do anything drastic like throw away all my clothes or dye my hair orange. I'm talking more like baby steps.
Just like every other weekend I get up bath and put on my regular Saturdays and Sundays outfit. Big sweatpants and since its winter my pink sweater with a hood that says "I'm a Marine mom". I work in the corporate world so my Monday thur Friday outfits are professional wear. During the summer months I tend to wear the same shorts around the house. In addition, this up-coming February will mark my 3 years anniversary for being natural which my hair is in a protective style (2-strand twist) at least 95% of the time.
New Year! New Change! I will start a 4 part series where I share my progress every 3 months on how, who and what motivated me.
What exactly will I be changing? I will try more hairstyles, purchase a new outfit at least once a month, and try different types of food(this is really stepping out of my comfort zone).
Part 1 of 4 is motivated by Sophia's Chic Boutique she started an on-line boutique - conceited stylz
I started shopping this morning for an outfit particularly looking for a different styles and came across this website, Sophia's Chic Boutique. Love the style this website carries! As mentioned my comfort on the weekends are sweat pants (every now and then I may wear a pair of jeans) and the first thing I noticed on this website was jogging pants! (go figure, lol) but more stylish than the original sweat pants I've been wearing on the weekend.
So, I think my first outfit of the year will be a purchase from Sophia's Chic Boutique.

Bentonite Clay & Rhassoul Clay
Both..........
- Remove product build up
- Come in a powder form
- Excellent for facials
- Used by cultures to help rid the body of toxins
- Favorite for naturalistas
- Used as a Deep Conditioner
Bentonite Clay - An external detoxification; it's an absorbent aluminum phyllosilicate(are sheet silicate an important group of minerals), essentially impure clay consisting mostly of montmorillonite(a very soft group of minerals that typically form in microscopic crystals forming a clay).
Bentonite clay have become very popular in the natural hair community as a form of detoxifying your hair. However, what I notice is it can be a drying if left on too long
